It is a very significant weekend for me. I haven't led for a while and being thrown into the deep this time certainly has helped me gained many rewards. Under the patient guidance of Ally, the team worked to improved service after every service. The good thing is, we got no liberty or space to willow in self-pity or not good enough, the services are back to back and every one of us are being stretched to the fullest. We just got to renew our mental perspective, improve the points given and work it out again, for the people and for the Lord.
So it's been so wonderful and enriching for me. I would remember this weekend many many years down the road and I am truly thankful to be able to share it with the Youth Team. Pst was extremely gracious and patient with us. He is a brilliant coach and working with him made me realized why he do the things he do. It is not that he is a fussy person, but it's really the strength of the church to have team spirit. Keeping one eye on the Lord, sensing the temperature of the people, keeping a ear to the musicians and singers, all these are keys to empowering the people.
This coming weekend the Youth Team are doing 4 services in all. So it's gonna be really exciting. I am humbled to be able to serve Jesus in this manner. I seriously consider this, that I did not do anything worthy to have the opportunity and favor shown to me, but it's truly by the grace of God.
Aren't you glad in the midst of all the craziness that we have a God who is so consistent in His ways.
