Update: Merry Christmas

Hey all, sorry I've been out of action for abit.

It was the wedding, the honeymoon, the catching up of work, the Asia Conference, the new crib and here I am. The house is about 80% done. Today all the rest came over to help do up the Christmas Tree. It was just really nice. It's just what we are made for, relationships.

Eric & Jimmy have been a great help to me today and I have to say this. Both of them gave me their Mondays, went to Ikea with me, pushed the trolleys, helped me carry things, source and search, walk up and down, waited and linger, just to help me. Initially I thought I could manage alone, but couldn't have been a fruitful trip without the both of them. I really appreciate you guys so much, it just means alot that you guys took time out to do the boring thing with me (In this case, shopping for the house, it'd probably be more exciting for me.)

Still, doing up the house can be a real nuisance at times. I have about 4 Ikea Catalogues, all of them with the giant yellow sticker plastered on the cover (Ikea's Catalogue, please return after use). I looked through them, teared the pages, made markings, highlighted it, pasted notes, they were my tabloids addiction at least for the past one month. And finally it's probably coming to a close. Of course like what Nora says, the house is always a work in progress. So I just want to enjoy the journey rather than the end product.

I wished I can just take photos and just show our work to you. The theme of the house is White, and Beige. The living is white, the kitchen white, bedroom white, study room white, toilets wooden and beidge. So just imagine with me till the photos are up ya. We got our Christmas Tree today! And it's standing proud at 1.8 tall. Brandon, Eric, Jimmy put up the tree together, so the credit and glory belongs to them.

I can't wait for the Christmas Party to come! Really excited. It's a season of giving. This year I am more excited to give than to receive. Merry Christmas guys, it's 23 Days away.
