Pray For me

Hey guys,

please pray for me. I'm having this sty in my eyes. It's like a small infection at my left eyelid.

Out of 5 people I told today about my condition, everyone have the same reaction! "Did you peep on anyone bathing?"

What?!

This is the so called old women's tales and taboos' stories that keep people in bondages. It's just hilarious.

I remember hearing so many of these silly tales.

1) If you cut your nails at night, the ghost will eat it then follow you around. (Really? Then I'll not cut my nails in the bin the next time, I'll just cut it wherever in the house and let the ghost eat it)
2) The ghost will follow us back to our home. BUT if we wash our feet, the ghost can't locate us.
3) Don't ever DROP a mirror, you will be cursed 7 years.
4) Don't ever pat your neighbor's shoulder, you "off" his protection light and the ghost will find him.
5) If you urinate in the public you must say a magic word so you won't pee on the ghost and offend it.

The list goes on forever.

Let the bible fight for me. Read.

1 Tim 4:6-8 (MSG)
You've been raised on the Message of the faith and have followed sound teaching. Now pass on this counsel to the followers of Jesus there, and you'll be a good servant of Jesus. Stay clear of silly stories that get dressed up as religion. Exercise daily in God—no spiritual flabbiness, please! Workouts in the gymnasium are useful, but a disciplined life in God is far more so, making you fit both today and forever. You can count on this. Take it to heart. This is why we've thrown ourselves into this venture so totally. We're banking on the living God, Savior of all men and women, especially believers.

Have fun guys, the God we serve is a very liberating God!
