Update

Hey Everyone,

I apologized for the lack of updates and entries. I was just swarmed after the trip. The next day I got back, I went to songlead for bible school and had vocal lesson on Friday. I spent first half of my Saturday attending and singing for the Romance Seminar. It was very enriching and I was very blessed by what Pst Tan and Pst Kong shared.

I have tonnes of photos from the trip but I haven't got the time to post it all up. Though the trip was tiring and had much hiccups, it was nevertheless a good bonding time for us with my folks. I had many meaningful conversations with Brandon and we spent much time praying and reading the Word together. So that is what money can't buy and I am happy about that.

This coming week, other than juggling work in the day, I got to jam and practice with the peeps for KL this weekend. The youth team is heading to KL with Pst Kong to do praise and worship. I hoped we would do well, it's a big step for many of us. God be with us.

It's been a good 2009 so far, and I am just thankful for many things in my life. It's true that all good gifts come from heaven above.

1) I am thankful to be married to a wonderful great husband who loves the Lord and respects God's calling in my life.
2) I am thankful for my parents and my sister, who has been such a good support in everything that I do.
3) I am thankful for the BV ministry and all the singers, it's always so edifying to serve God and spend time with them.
4) I am thankful to God for all my old friends who went beyond themselves and made my wedding such a special one for me.
5) I am thankful to God for my new cell group and my cgl Venetia. I am so blessed by their big hearts of love. It's been nothing but great for Brandon and me to be in W322.
6) I am thankful to be able to come back to a beautiful home. Though it's simple and not extravagant, it is filled with the peace and presence of God, and that is what money cannot buy.
7) I am thankful to have people I can fall back on, you know who you are. Thank you for loving me and always wanting the best for me.
8) I am thankful for being ALIVE. You know people die everyday, of car accidents, of heart attacks, of fever. Sometimes we fail to be thankful for things like that. Contentment and Godliness are great gains.
9) Most importantly, I am thankful for the peace of God in my life, in my marriage, in my family. Thank You Jesus!

"If the only prayer you said in your whole life was, "thank you," that would suffice."
Meister Eckhart
