Rant

2 mid fourties women came knocking at my door about 5 mins ago. They dressed as if they were from old Jerusalem. I am being mean but it could have the potential to end well but it was just absurd.

The entire time they gave a very weird smile. They asked if I am a Christian, I said yes. My heart shouted "Oh Yeah I am!" And I am happy about it. So they asked if I am the only one in the family that is saved. Well my family do go to church but they are not living with me. Anyway they asked if I can spare a few minutes for them to come in share a bible study with me.

I rejected politely because I am not comfortable and I have sufficient word and bible studies from my own church. So this lady insisted politely and 'weirdly', and so I said no still politely to her. She asked why and I told her I am going for cell group meeting tonight anyway and I am busy right now. Then she said "Are you busy with watching TV?" because the TV was on. I got a rude shock and I went "What the hell?" in my mind.

I was a little pissed so I answered "No, I have housework to do." I mean what's wrong with these people. I know you're probably sincere but obviously you are sincerely wrong. With people like that going around insisting to go into people's house and sharing about Christ, no wonder people freaked out and think we Christians are weirdos. I mean seriously, you ladies are overstepping your boundaries. For crying out loud you are not even related to me, and you dare to question if I am declining bible study over watching TV. So what if I am, actually yes I am. For the simple fact that I don't want to have bible study with 2 weird women who wants to share with me on Matthew 7 on how to revere God's name when we pray to Him.

I have a healthy relationship with my God Father and I think He is pretty pleased with me. I don't need any help. If ever I open the door and invite you in, that is charity to me.

What utter nonsense. And what utter humor.

I'm taking it with a laugh. And please, if you're doing something like that, stop, don't, don't ever. Don't ever overstep your boundaries. The big thing about Jesus and the whole idea of love is you offer, not stuff it down the throat. My goodness, what were those women thinking.

Weirdos.
