A Friend

Recently I have been thinking alot about the meaning of friendship and friends. There were some incidents in my life that really got me thinking. So I went on a journey to learn and to help me set things in perspective. I want to be better and not bitter. Just like what the bible says, to have friends we ourselves must first be a friend to others. So instead of expecting people to live up to my standard, this year, I made a resolution to be a friend.

I read through the bible and some quotes of famous people regarding being a friend. There were many interesting verses which tickles me but let's just not go there. Let's build on the good in this new year.

There were countless topics that I read through, but one particular quote stood out.

I have peace in my heart when I choose to love :) Life may sucks, but God offers a perfect remedy. Love at all times!
