Brandon and I were just recounting back our prayer requests to God at the start of the year and we're immensely thankful that god has answered all our prayers. God spoke to me a few days ago that He is the builder of our marriage and He will continue to build and care for this project.
It was a tiring but great week I had. At the start of the year, I learnt a painful lesson about friendship and I thought I would never be able to enjoy friendship again. I was so torn apart and at that point I could only pray and hope in God. Along the way, God helped me make many great and edifying friendships and I made friends that truly loves me and care for my well-being. Just last week, Poh and Jo gave a lovegift to us. They came to Bedok and we had breakfast together. I am so humbled and overwhelmed by the love and acceptance we received. They really love us for who we are and not what we can do for them. We spent the evening with the family and those are moments that money can never buy. Thank you Poh & Jo.
Brandon and I had a great time over the Easter weekend. One of the highlights is to be able to bond and have fun with the people in the ministry. I want to thank God for the many great ministry friends I have that shown me love and selflessness. These are people who not only love God and are secure in their calling, they are people who are fun and knows when to have a good laugh. I really appreciate that. So you can imagine, we rejoice over the weekend over the souls and had a great time serving together. Joy is a reflection of God's goodness consistently in our lives.
I am also very glad to be able to catch up with the girls over the last few weeks. It's really heartwarming to be reminded of how we have grown together over the years. I have grown to be so comfortable and it's really good to be able to share our lives together, no matter how different our jobs, personalities, even problems are. Love is wanting to come together despite of our differences. And I appreciate you Ellen, Euzanne, Mindy, Isabel. Gabrielle I miss you! Come out of hibernation! Haha :)
And I am extremely proud of Brandon. He has been waking up way early everyday since bible school starts. He is very diligent and I am so proud of my husband. I appreciate his hunger for the Word and his faithfulness to serve God. We are already reaping the blessings of that! So thank you God and we serve a GOOD GOD amen!
