My Week

Hey guys, how was your week?

My week has been busy as usual but very good. Last Sunday, I made a prayer during the service. I told God that I want to songlead again, because I truly believe I am born to do this and it's my passion and it's what makes me happy. I enjoy every bit of singing for God and I want to go back to it. So that was my prayer on that faithful day. So on Tuesday, I was given a chance to songlead for leaders' meeting. Man I was really rusty but I just bashed through. I am very thankful to people like Feli, Estella, Jace, you know they are just nothing but encouraging. I appreciate the fact that they are secure and went beyond themselves to encourage me.

So anyway after the leaders' meeting, I was bummed because I felt like it's a long way for me to get back the momentum. After that, I was asked to lead for the weekend service. For praise. I requested to just go for a song first because this week I am leading Chinese Church as well. So guys, lesson learnt, be careful of what you asked for. The fact is, God would give you what you want, point is are you ready for it?

I am thankful and excited to be leading again, and Poh shared the best encouragements on Wed night. I think stress was written all over my face and so people just pour their love and empathy to me, haha. Thanks all. So apart from this, I am busy with school as usual. Still praying for a big move ahead.

I remember at e start of the year I was praying for good spiritual friends that can come make a difference in my life. My life was torn apart because of people I thought I could trust but obviously not. And let's not go there. I am a person that firmly believes that friends are important, but trustable good friends are even more important. I am thankful for the people in the ministry, in the cell group, in the family. It's been a crazy but a good ride so far for 2009. To all you who bear good thoughts towards me, thanks it's been really empowering.
