Christmas Service

Bennett said something, that 2007 is a great year for me but 2008 is a challenging one for me. I believe there's always a season for everything. Many said that in life we go through valleys so that we learn how to lean on God more. Even though 2008 was a challenging year for me, but I have alot to thank God for.

And being married to Brandon is the best thing that happened to me. If not for him, I would have gone insane. Brandon is just a really strong pillar in my life, his undying love for God, his ever undying support and love for me really assures me in times of needs. There's so many things to thank God for this Christmas!

In 2008, I got married, I got a new house, I gained an extended family. I made greater friendships, and those are the things that money can't buy. And I want to thank God for it. I am looking forward to 2009, a year of vision, value and compassion. Brandon and I have been talking about sponsoring a child and we were watching Martin Smith's documentary on the CompassionArts. What they are doing is just so moving and we really hoped to be a part of it. Many world renowned songwriters such as Michael W.Smith, Darlene, Steven Curtis Chapman, Israel Houghton came together for a retreat in Scotland in Jan 2008, they came up with an album and all the proceeds will go to the poor, this is worship is its purest form. And Brandon and I want to be a part of it.

You know it doesn't take alot to make a difference in the world. A $1 a day can help save a child's life, grant him or her education and give them future and hope. And what is a dollar to us. Let's not live life for ourselves. Giving is a remedy if you're feeling down or hopeless. Pastor Kong preached a wonderful 3 point sermon, vision, value & compassion are very vital to living a great happy life.
