Some Dates

You know sometimes you made a choice and you wonder if God had anything to do with it.

I remember during SOT days, Pst Ming preached about how God would win us through the circumstances into the choice He want us to made.

Well initially, Brandon and I wanted to have the wedding on 28th of October as it's a public holiday. The only problem is it is deepavali and frankly speaking I am not a big fan of it. Not that I am a racist but I'm not an indian. It's like asking a muslim to get married during Chinese New Year that kinda thing.

So anyway, we just cannot seems to have the wedding on the date we first decided so now it's 1 November. You know in my life I made many choices, and the inital I always feel that is not the best, but it always turn out that at the end it seems to be the best. And God has always something to do with it.

I remember I made a prayer to God before to help me to see when I can't see. And I am just so blessed to be reminded of the prayer and how good God is.

Anyway I was just looking through some important dates and made some interesting discovery. And did I mention that Wikipedia is my new found best friend, you can find anything on it.

1 November (Our Wedding Date)
All Saints' Day, a Christian holy day, is celebrated on November 1, the day after Halloween.
In Ireland, November 1 is regarded as the first day of Winter.

6th Jan (My Birthday, and Dayan's)
Epiphany (Greek for "to manifest" or "to show"), is a Christian feast day which celebrates the "shining forth" or revelation of God in human form in the person of Jesus Christ. The feast falls on January 6.

June (My name if you haven't realize)
The month, June is named after the Roman goddess Juno, wife of Jupiter and equivalent to the Greek goddess Hera.
June is known for the large number of marriages that occur over the course of the month. June is named after, Juno or Hera. Juno was the goddess of marriage and a married couple's household, so some consider it good luck to be married in this month.

I was telling Brandon, we don't have to get married in June. Because I am the goddess of marriage myself. Ha ha ha. As usual, he rolled his eyes. But I secretly believe we are built for life :)
