Protect

Hey all.

How was your weekend? I really enjoyed myself. From the Children Church to the Main Services. I really enjoyed the dramas, the confessions to the mummies and of course the preaching of the Word.

Recently I have been spending alot of time with my mum, talking to her and sharing with her about what's in my heart. And I find that God has answered my prayer in alot of way. He is truly living and present in my family as I pray for them daily. And I believe that is the best gift we can ever give to our family, the salvation of God. Because we then can be assured they will be with us for eternal. My mum responded to God again and I am just so thankful and blessed. I am going to work on my dad for the Father's Day that's coming next!

Brandon and I had a good time praying last night and we were just so touched by the goodness and faithfulness of God in our lives. You know the truth is many a times we cannot trust ourselves, we prayed to God that He will always bring us back to His presence if ever we get carried away with busyness of life. Walking with God is exciting, and walking with God is a very moving thing for me. I am always so moved by what He has done, so moved by the reality of what Jesus has done. So moved that He is always so mindful of my life, and even as right now He is still praying for me at the right hand of the Father. You know, being a Christian is the best thing that has ever happened to me.

So guys you see, there's always a need to go back to the basics. Contentment and Godliness are great gains. I know there's always a call to go after riches and glory, but in the midst of there we all need to find the balance, we all need to find our contentment at where we stand currently. I am very contented now, and I am very thankful to God. If anything is taken away from me, I will still praise God. But of course I don't hope for that.

So protect and guard the joy you have in your life. Especially the joy of the Lord that no one can give. God is very generous with the joy, blessing and provision that He has given to us, but the thing is the devil is also very jealous and very evil-eager to take all of that from us. We have have tenacity, stand up, take responsibility over our lives, protect ourselves, protect our vision, our call, our joy.

To me, walking with God and being happy is very important. How about you?
