It's Splendid Thursday

I had a relaxing week. Last night after dinner, B & I took a long stroll in town along Esplanade and Marina Bay Sands. We went back to the same spot 7 years ago where we were young teens, sitting at the edge of the riverbank, sharing our hearts. God is truly faithful to us. I know we can look into the future and expect great things from God.

Tomorrow I will be on leave, wheeeeee! I look forward to spending some time at home.

It's August. How time flies. Treasure every day, treasure every moment.

Gonna get back to work. Have a terrific weekend you guys.

Moments that Matters

Last night I was lying on the bed. I thought about the things that matters.

::When Brandon kiss me good night every night and tells me we will grow old together
::When I receive SMSes from my friends & they tell me they miss me and they love me
::Having meals with my parents, and able to give to them
::When my mum said the worship I led was good, it means the world to me
::Seeing little Snowie curl up at B's feet, even an animal knows the heart of a good man
::When my colleagues tell me that I have a big heart of love, I know that it is the work of Jesus
::When I go to the practice every Wed and see the familiar faces, these are the people I love being with
::When it rains and I sits at the living room, the warmth of having my own house
::Seeing lil Joseph holding B's hands, playing, talking, hugging
::Giving Joie a big kiss and have her kissing me back, this is sisterly love
::Hearing stories about forgiveness and love

::And hearing God whisper to me day in out that He loves me and He is not done with me

These are the moments that matters to me.

Friday Joy

I'm so swarmed. It was work and the midweek tummy troubles. I was out with B on Tuesday night and I must have ate something wrong. I took Wed-day to rest and catch up on my rest. Got back to work the next day and here I am. It's Friday, beautiful Friday.

My dad came over last night and shared his heart with me concerning my aunty. I am just glad to see how our relationship has grown and I know it must be the doing of God. We hardly spoke before but since he accepted Christ, he is so much more positive and chatty. Be good to your parents, we have only one set of parents.

Boy the year is coming to a close. I have to put up the Christmas tree soon. I must throw a Christmas bash this year. This year was a pretty quiet one for us consider that we took a break from all the house parties. We should play harder before the little ones come. Last night before we slept, Brandon told me he loves me very very very much. Upon hearing that, I felt the warmth and peace came into my heart. I always feel I don't deserve this, but I am just humbled to be given a home, a good husband, a good family and a good life.

I am looking forward to have the little bambinos.

TUJ

TUJ.

Thank You Jesus. I had such a terrific weekend.

I enjoyed every bit of being in the presence of God. I got to songlead today at the Chinese Church. Just super blessed to see my folks enjoying the Word. It means alot when they told me they love the worship.

Please excuse me, I need to get away in the presence of God again.

B is enjoying himself watching the last live album of Delirious. The world is just blessed by their music that came out of their love for God.

Good night all.

Btw, my niece who is barely three and a half can recite the numbers in 4 languages. And she asked me if I can teach her french. I had such a blast this weekend.

TUJ. Stay with Jesus you.

Forgiveness

I believe in love and I believe in forgiveness. I think the best gift we can give unto others is the gift of acceptance. It doesn't matter if people agrees with you, it doesn't matter if people are of a different belief or background as you, the love of Jesus simple embraces and accepts. I want to be more like Jesus.

It was a great night yesterday. Pst and Sun came by and I couldn't resist giving them both a big tight squeeze. How can we ever forget and neglect the fact that the two of them are the very ones who paid the price and gave us a 2nd shot in life. You are right in saying Jesus is the One that died on the cross, but Jesus has to work through yielded vessels. And they paid and is paying the price for giving us the climate to know God and be better in life.

It really amazes me how fast time flies. It's coming to Friday again. It has been a very fruitful week of work. I got back about 1am last night and I was a lil' worried about my schedule today. But God assured me that He will give ms strength for work. It amazes me that I am most productive and geared up every Thursday despite having to come back very late from practice. Truly God will never shortchange us as we seek Him and all His righteousness.

It's been 11 years of walking with Jesus. There is never never a day of boredom with my Lord.

Kari Jobe

Hey all.

Say a prayer for me. I been resisting a flu and sore throat since last week. I am convinced there's a bug in the office. I thought I'm having B back, till he said he is rushing some microsites with impossible deadlines. It is okay, I never feel lonely because I have Jesus. I always feel the Holy Spirit with me.

Anyway Bennett suggested to listen to a lady Kari Jobe. I didn't think much of her but when I heard her stuffs on Youtube. I immediately fell in love with her. What struck me about her is the vulnerability and strength of her prayers. Her parents are both ministers and she started singing at a tender age of 3! I pray with all my heart that through our devotion to God, Brandon and I will raise up children like that for the works of Christ!

So here's Kari Jobe's latest single. "You Are For Me" Beautiful voice.

TGITuesday

Good morning you :)

Thank God it's Tuesday. I haven't been regularly on this space, because work is picking up and I am swarmed as usual. Good thing the World Cup is over, time to have my husband back. B has been staying up late most of the nights to watch the matches. Congratulations to Spain, I would love to see more of Torres but he's just so unfit this season.

Time really flies and it's July. More than half of the year flew by. When I looked back, I am most thankful for the fact that Jesus has always been with me, through ups and downs.

Got to get back to work, blog again.

A lil' Surprise

I am sitting in my living room now. I came straight home after my meeting. It has been a good week and I must thank God for that. Work is good if you ask. Busyness is a good sign. We all need to work and toil for something. I am thankful for my colleagues. They are very kind and generous. What's best is they are very diligent in their work and it really encourages me.

For the longest time, Brandon provides the best for me. He has never been calculative towards me and has always tried his best to meet my needs. So I am very excited whenever I get to buy him something, off from my own pay cheque. I bought a pair of Adidas shoes for him. I don't think he has the time to read this space as he's swarmed by work. So I'm looking forward to his reaction tonight. Yeay.

Have a good week guys. Here's the lil' surprise for my Mr.

"I love you Brandon. Hoped you like the shoes. It's white and it's stylish. If you don't like it I would... Well you have to like it."

TGIT

I am so glad to hear from S. I pray this will all be over soon. I love my church very much.

I realised whenever I am alone, I tend to walk with a skip. Or rather I skip when I walk. I was skipping back from lunch and learnt that it's because both B and I have completed our building fund. Yeay! It's our first BF as a couple and I am so glad we fulfilled our vows to God. God has been blessing us more than we gave. The verdict is, we can never outgive God. God is good.

I have been fighting against the sore throat and flu for the past few days. Resisting it in the mind actually helps. I am not bowing down to the sickness because it's a big weekend ahead.

I have to go finish up my proposals and head out for a meeting. Enjoy the rest of the week guys. And please go listen to Hillsongs' latest album "Beautiful Exchange." I am so ministered by their songs and lyrics of this album.

Love you all.

Here's a picture of me at home, taken a few weeks back. No makeup, no pretense, just the June you know.

Happy Wednesday

Pardon me. Work was busy and I was swarmed, again. I figured it's gonna be this way from now on. But I am really enjoying this and I thank God for it.

I am looking forward to my midweek perk tonight. Happy to see my friends with the same faith and passion.

I can almost see the future. It is like a pattern. Many years ago, I saw into the future when I was still dating B. We shared and talked about the future, what is it like to have a house, to watch World Cup in our new crib etc. And it's all happening now. We must see our future. And now I see our children, playing in our big white beautiful home (It's still going to be white).

Alright, I need to get back to work. Happy Wednesday peeps. xx

My Weekend

I had a terrific weekend. There was a new addition to the Crothers' family, Ella.

In a nutshell, this weekend was about family love, Argentina, Dr Bernard's sermon and a wedding. I am still digesting the word from Dr Bernard. It's so good to my soul.

I had a terrific night with Brandon. We prayed, we sang, we worshiped, we prophesied. It's so important that we keep our spirits sweet and whole before the week begins. I am enjoying my job thus far. I know as long as I continue to lean on God, it would stay this way.

Btw B received a new Tag Heur, I am so jealous.

My blessing is on its way. Meantime, have a good week y'all. Attached a picture of me, after so long!

Swarmed

Hey peeps, I was swarmed with work the past week. But it's so good the weekend is here. I can be with B for the next 2 days straight. Looking forward to CG and service.

Will write soon. TGIF. God is good.

Thank You

I love my husband. And I really respect my husband, B.

I remembered I was discouraged about my building fund a few months back. It is a huge and impossible amount for us. But that was not an option for B, it was a conviction. B said that we must fulfill our first BF to God as a married couple. And today, I fulfill my BF and we are going to fulfill it. Our first BF to God.

We have been so blessed by God in so many aspects of our lives and this is really something to show our gratitude to Him. We are very excited and hopeful of what is ahead of us. We trust that God will continue to bless us in our marriage and family life.

I am really grateful to B. Thank you for always speaking faith into my life. Thank you for all the prayers, all the songs you sung to me, all the times you serve me despite being so tired. Thank you for being you, I love you very much and you are a reminder of God's goodness to me. To many great years ahead.

Thank you Vene for your acceptance and love towards me. Joining your CG is one of the best things that has happened to me. Love your heart for the Lord. We are just incredibly blessed to have you.

Albert, Gina, Adrian, Felicia, Euzanne, Lijun, Vene, Josephine Chua, Poh, Ally, Doreen Seow, Dr Isaac, Dorcas, Stanley, Joyce, Jace...

Thank you for pouring all the love, prayers, affections, gifts, chats and laughters into our lives. You have made such a difference in our lives. I am thinking about you and is grateful for you!

My Jesus

I drank a cuppa coffee today. It perks me up instantly, the wonder of caffeine. I am usually worn out by the weekends. Too much fun, too much love, too much laughter, too much tears last weekend.

Last night I told God I can't get through a day without Him. I was literally afraid going through the week without Jesus. My work is getting more demanding. I cannot look at my responsibilities and the pressure through my own. But when I have Jesus, everything seems like a piece of cake. So I will take the narrow way.

Looking forward to Dr Bernard's meeting tomorrow night!

Happy Monday y'all :)

My Sunshine

During the week, God prompted me to read Psalms 27. I was mediating on it the whole week.

And when I went for cell group on Friday night, Psalms 27 was the main passage for the night. I was so moved and I felt God saying to me "This is My way of saying thank you to you." I am really happy to hear from God.

Tonight's service was very emotional for many of us. But I am thankful to be able to see Pastor and Sun. I just broke down and cried when I hugged them. I know and I believe all of these trials are temporal and there are greater glory ahead. We must keep on praying for Pastor and Sun, no one would understand the price they have to pay.

Pray Pray Pray. Please excuse me, I need to go help my husband for his work. I must be a good wife, this will make my Father smile.

Good night peeps.

He Laughed

I can’t put a word to it.

I think it’s a consuming fire. Or probably in world terms it’s call Adrenaline.

That is how I have been feeling for the past one week. It is as if Jesus is coming back for me. I think it is probably the nights I spent with Him, or having secret meetings with Him during the toilet breaks. It’s unquenchable. It’s You and me, changing the world.

Today I heard God laughed. I am 100% sure. I was at lunch with my colleagues. It is a challenge to go for group lunches, because there are 2 vegetarians and a muslim. Anyway we were at this vegan place. This eatery is opened by a lady named Supreme Master, she preaches on the fusion of Christianity and Buddhism. I respect all religions and beliefs and my colleagues are the most wonderful people around.

So I was getting a little worried, because I have been eating at different vegetarians places lately and they are all operated by their spiritual organizations. I was wrestling in my thoughts and I heard His laughter. He told me it is not what I put in my mouth but what comes out of it matters. I felt relieved and ridiculous at the same time. Relieved because I know my heart matters more than what I eat, ridiculous because I allowed myself to worry over trivial matters like this. I am extremely happy to hear from God.

Thank God it’s Friday. I am burning on the inside of me. I can’t wait to get to cell group. I can't wait to meet God again!

Happy Thursday

Hey peeps, I was swarmed with work yesterday. So thus the absence.

There was a songleader's class with the grand trio (Ally, Bel & Poh) last night. It was enjoyable and a good reminder for many things I have learnt before. It was just so good to see everyone. Wednesday night practice is my midweek perk.

Recently I have been listening to podcasts and sermons on the way to work. As my work gets more demanding, I realised that I need God all the more. When I reach the end of the day, I could literally feel the thirst of my soul at the back of my throat. I just couldn't wait to get home and soak myself in the presence of God. The presence of God also gives me faith and strength for my work. All I can say is, I thank God we have the Holy Spirit and His presence. You and I have access to that living water.

The week just flew by like that again. It's Friday tomorrow. Looking forward to go for cell group!

We are contemplating a trip. Heard about Bangkok from the girls last night, maybe we should go there. But we want to go Tokyo. We shall see.

Happy Thursday Guys.
